Fall Art Workshop for Kids/Teens

The tradition of students learning by copying great artists definitely goes back to the Renaissance, probably even earlier. The idea was that students would copy the works of their teachers to refine their skills and techniques. In this workshop, kids will learn about how to copy the masters! We will spend time discussing artists and their techniques. Learning about Picasso and his abstract self portraits, impressionistic artist Vincent Van Gogh, Georgia O’Keefe, Leonardo DaVinci and more. Then the students will chose a painting they want to copy. This fall workshop is for kids ages 8-14 and will be taught in the fall. Please reach out if you are interested!
